Jeremiah 12:5In this season God is calling us to step up into a higher dimension in Him. If we are to bind up the broken hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound, we need to make a shift from a place of weakness, complacency and faithlessness to a position of strength, boldness and endurance.
If we do not understand that the same roar of the lion of Judah that resided in Daniel and caused the lions in the den to be subdued also resides within us, we are not not ready to contend with horses. If we cannot make a stand for God as when Daniel declared in Dan 3:18 to Nebuchadnezzar that he will not serve their gods or worship the golden image, and if we are still compromising with the word of God, then we are not ready to contend with horses.
If we don't believe that God can deliver us out of any and every situation and cause decrees made by kings to be of no effect, we are not yet ready to contend with horses. If we are afraid of the enemy and have not realised that if we maintain our position in Christ, the fires in the middle of the furnace cannot touch us, we are not ready to contend with horses. If our faith in God continues to waiver we cannot contend with horses.
We are in a Daniel season and the Daniel anointing is upon us!

Psalm 24:7-10Those of us who have accepted Jesus as saviour and Lord, we claim the promise that He has come in to our hearts by Holy Spirit. He therefore lives within our hearts to change us into His likeness. The Bible declares that He is changing us from glory to glory. Psalm 24 says that we need to open the gates to allow the King of glory to enter. Have we opened the gates of our hearts to allow the King of glory to come in? In fact are we uncomfortable about opening the gates of our hearts and allowing His presence to take over.
All believers still struggle with the flesh in one way or another even after many years of following the Lord. We find that in some cases mature believers are struggling with the same temptations as young believers. Have we allowed the King of glory to come in and permeate every area of our lives so that we will not be easily overtaken by the temptations of the flesh? When His glory is in a place, we note that nothing is able to withstand it nor can dwell or operate in it.
Surely this is worthy of consideration. Are the areas where the enemy has us paralysed and bound, the areas where we have shut the door to the King of glory? He wants to come in and flood our soul with His glory so that we will reflect His glory to the worldly man. Instead we find our selves going through the same struggles as the worldly man and we never seem to get the victory over them. Our reaction is often the same or worse than the worldly man. There is no peculiar people lifestyle being demonstrated.
Open up the gates of your soul and let the King of glory come in. He is the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. He is the Lord of hosts!
